University. That is it. Four years and I am done!

Today was the day that I have been looking forward to for the past four years.
Graduation.
After all the hard work, I am proud to say I graduated with a first honours degree in Digital Media BA Hons.
It has been the best experience of my life, I meet and made so many great friends, and I couldn't of done it without them.
I have learn’t so much about myself and my degree and now I cannot wait to begin my journey within the Digital industry. I am going to take everything heads on that comes my way and enjoy every minute.

Yay! New Job!

I have just been offered a 6-month contract at Oasis Fashion to work with the Ecommerce team as a Junior Web Developer. I am so lucky that this ties in great with my degree, and I get to work in the industry as well as completing my final year!
Cannot wait to start. A fantastic way to end a great year!

Final Year as a student

Another new start but this will be my final year at university. I have mixed feelings, I think I am so use to now working 9-5 in London as developer, I have to go back to being a student and study full time. Hopefully the year out and all the new skills and connections I have made will help me through this final year.
This year will be very challenging as I will have a final project to create but also my other modules, which are very theory based such as Law and Marketing.
Lets hope for the best!

Last day of my industry placement!

So this is it, my last day as a placement student at MICROS Ecommerce. Here I was part of a team, which consisted of range of skilled developers and UX designers. I have had great time there and made some great friends. It was a real eye opener to the industry that in another years time I will be back in but on my own as a graduate job.
I am luckily enough to say, I haven't been put off it. If anything it has made more excited and determined to get my degree and go back. I love the job; the people and I fell in love with London and everything about it.
I also learned a great deal from technical skills to people skills. From interacting with clients to being part of a team and working to real deadlines.
Bring on my final year!!!
